This year is the 23rd of a long lasting experience of Luxardo helped by Dover (our Japanese importer) in the Japanese confectionery market.
100 participants, 5 finalists and one Winner Mr. Hirotaka Sakai, a Shefs that comes from the famous pastry shop in Gifu prefecture called "Le Cerisierd'amour" (http://www.cerisierdamour.com/).
This year with the theme “Italian Jurney” the 5 finalists had 8 hours to complete a sugar sculpture and a set of petit gateaux made with Maraschino Luxardo and Espresso liqueur Luxardo.
Mr. Hirotaka will present his sugar sculpture at the SIGEP, the biggest confectionery fair in the world, held in Rimini in January.
